Next Franchise Webinar Monday Night
The last two weeks, wee had our first webinars to introduce the HVA franchise. We have had 10 to 12 participants on each, and from reports have several interested in proceeding with the process.
This week, based on response from several DAs, we are changing the day to Monday evening.
This call is for someone interested in learning about the HVA Franchise. We invite everyone to join us. The next webinar is scheduled:

It takes a great team
You have a great team supporting you at the HVA corporate office. This year, they have all taken on additional responsibilities without complaining (well, at least with very little complaining.) You hear some of our team on the webinars and see at the meetings. Others work hard to support you in the background. You may not even know their name, but they are there if you need them. Below is an email we received about one of our team, Jared in our IT department. We appreciate Brenda sending the email as a reminder how great a team we have.
I just wanted to take a moment and let you know what an outstanding employee you have in Jared Healer. No matter when I call or how big or small in detail the question I ask on the RESULTS system , he is always happy to help and never makes me feel stupid. He explains things in a way that I understand and never leaves the call until I do. He has been a great help in teaching me ways to streamline my activities so that I can be more productive. Jared is an asset to this organization.

Advertising update
Overall Advertising was up another 2% in August.
- Outdoor was up 7% over July
- Broadcast was down 17%
- Direct Mail increased 5% over July
Authorizations for September are also up even more!
An investment in Advertising leads to buys that leads to sales that leads to profits.

August results
August was the biggest month of Buy Closings for the year, an increase of 2% over July, the second biggest month. It also achieved the projections for the month set back in March.
Purchase Contracts for August, a leading indicator, were 10% over July. Sale Closings were down slightly from July, but still were the second highest for the year.
Of the closings, Assignments continue to be strong. Assignments were up 12% over July.

Finally, forwarded mail
We have been in our new offices for a month. Our first attempt to foward the mail was done the week before we moved.
We received our first batch of forwarded mail Thurday. Today, we received a hugh box of mail, much of it forwarded from the old address. Some of it was originally postmarked IN JUNE!
And the post office wonders why they keep losing business. And to think, we have to pay more for this great service.
If you mailed us something and we have not responded, it may truly be "in the mail."

July Advertising results
Total Advertising dollars were up 2% in July over June. (Direct Mail was down 3% in dollars for the month, but outdoor was up 8%.)
Total Calls were our best month this quarter, and were up 3% over June - and 20% over May!
Internet leads (website leads and Pay Per Click) were up 8% over June and 28% over May!
This means total leads (calls and Internet) were up 5% over June and 23% over May!
