ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A house in Sarasota, Florida, has been deemed the ugliest in America.
The results were revealed today during HomeVestor of America's "Ugliest House of the Year" convention in Orlando.
The company, known for its tagline "We Buy Ugly Houses," attracted thousands of voters to its website.
The owner of the Sarasota home, Gregory Weinstein, says the filth, trash and remnants from squatters left the house repulsive and a menace to the community.
So he sold it to a real estate investor and renovations are under way.
The Sarasota home beat out other ugly homes in Alabama, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania and several cities in Texas.
