Rob Cockrell joins HVA as a Franchise Systems Manager specializing in the financial aspects of operating a franchise.
"Some months ago we determined that we needed to hire an FSM who could help our franchisees better understand the financial operations of their business," explained HVA CEO John Hayes. "All of our FSMs are equipped to help franchisees with the operational aspects of their business from lead generation to buying and selling houses to coordinating the office to hiring and motivating staff. They also are good at helping the franchisee with general financial matters, but they are not experts that can dig into a financial statement and help the franchisee better understand the cash dynamics of the business. We believe we are filling a huge voide in our FSM program by bringing Rob on staff."
Cockrell said, "I am excited to be with HomeVestors. My goal is to help all the HomeVestors franchisees work with run the most profitable businesses they can. My experience as a real estate broker leads me to believe that this will be one of the best years in the last twenty-five to purchase investment property at a discount."
Prior to joining HVA, Cockrell was in the Army and served during the Gulf War. In 1992 he returned to Maryland and attended Bowie State University. After returning from active duty he pursued a business degree and relocated to Dallas-Ft. Worth. Cockrell worked with Century 21 and Real Living real estate before joining HVA.
Franchisees who work with FSMs will be assigned to work with Cockrell as needed for several weeks at a time.
