HVA Ranks 27 In Franchise Business Review Top 50

Ranking measures franchisee satisfaction of more than 400 franchises

Franchise Business Review has published its Top 50 Franchise Satisfaction Awards for 2008 and once again HomeVestors is among the best in the business, placing 27 in the Large Franchise Class.

The ranking is determined by Franchise Business Review after surveying franchisees of more than 400 franchise companies. This is the first year Franchise Business Review separated the list into categories based on size. The Large Franchise Class is for franchises with more than 200 franchise units.

"This is an honor for HomeVestors and it's especially important to us because the survey is completed by our franchisees with absolutely no involvement by the corporate office," commented John Hayes, HVA CEO. "It's a pure franchisee satisfaction survey that's hands-off by the franchisor and it's the best indicator we have—and that prospective franchisees have--of how well we are performing as a franchisor and a franchise network. To rank in the top 50 a third year in a row, and especially after what we've been through, is the greatest compliment franchisees could pay to a franchisor, and I appreciate it."

In 2007, HomeVestors ranked 35 in the Top 50 Franchises. HVA has ranked in the Top 50 for the last three years of the survey.

HVA promotes Killough and Dibble to vice president

Jason Killough
Eric Dibble
Earlier this month the HVA Board od Directors approved the promotions of Jason Killough and Eric Dibble to vice president.

"Eric and Jason have two of the most challenging jobs in a franchise organization and they are two of the most valuable members of Team HVA,” said HVA President and CEO John Hayes. “They consistently demonstrate their commitment to HVA and we're grateful for their dedication. I appreciate, and I know many franchisees do, too, that they work unselfishly and cooperatively for the betterment of our network.”

Killough joined HVA in 2006. In his role as vice president of franchise development Killough will work to expand HVA nationally and internationally through franchising.

“Our goal is to open California this year, which means HomeVestors will be franchising coast to coast,” he said. “We also have plans to expand in Puerto Rico and Canada in 2008.”

Dibble joined HVA in 2002 as corporate controller. In his role Dibble manages all accounting operations, corporate planning and budgeting and internal and external financial reporting.

“I'm proud to have Eric and Jason on my team,” added Hayes. “The Board of Directors was unanimous in promoting them to vice presidents. Please join me in congratulating them."
