HomeVestors® helps Habitat for Humanity
HomeVestors® of North Idaho volunteers.
On June 21st, 2023, HomeVestors®, along with 20 members of our dedicated team, joined forces with the nonprofit organization Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho to help a family with some much-needed home repairs. We donated our time, energy, and expertise to make a significant impact on the lives of a family in need. Through a remarkable day of volunteer service, our team demonstrated our commitment to affordable housing and community help. The experience was both humbling and rewarding, as we witnessed firsthand the positive change that can be achieved by coming together for a common cause.
We assisted homeowners with their home repairs.
Partnering with Habitat for Humanity, we turned a house back into a home for a deserving family. In just 5 short hours, our team collectively contributed over 105 hours of work. Our focus was on improving the exterior of the house, addressing various maintenance and aesthetic issues. By tackling tasks such as cleaning, repairing skirting, replacing siding and trim, painting the house and trim, adding insulation, caulking, and tidying flower beds, we transformed the property into a more comfortable and inviting space for the family. But we didn’t stop there—to truly go above and beyond, we also took unwanted items to a donation center at the request of the homeowners.

Through our collaboration with Habitat for Humanity in North Idaho, our goal here at HomeVestors is to exemplify the spirit of community help and the power of volunteer service.

Why do we volunteer?
Volunteering is a cornerstone of community support, and the HomeVestors team understands that. We hope that our actions inspire others to join in, creating a ripple effect that positively impacts the lives of those in need.
Meyers states, “It was truly a humbling experience to see the impact that we made by coming together and helping those in need. Giving back not only benefits others, but it also brings a sense of fulfillment and purpose to our own lives.”
When we volunteer for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, we not only get to assist families in need, but we also help build a stronger, more compassionate community. It's our privilege to provide support to those who need it.
